Church Life Overview

The area of Church Life focuses on the fellowship and character development of the church body. Activities are geared to people of all ages, married and single. The purpose is to provide a relaxed entry for nonchurched individuals, to build church community,to provide a godly alternative of group activity in a secular world, and to encourage and mentor godly character.

The scope of this topic will not include small group ministry or activities centered on biblical study, prayer or outreach. Although these areas can also be considered Church Life they are more fully represented in Small Groups, Young Adult Discipleship, Adult Discipleship and [Community Outreach]. Furthermore, this topic will not include activities exclusively targeted for Children and Youth. Please refer to Children's Education and Youth Guide. The scope of this topic will target family and/or adult groups formed with the primary purpose of fellowship, recreation and leisure.
