During the first year, most of the Legal and Insurance organizational blocks will be in put in place.

Legal

• Insure that all the foundational components from "How to Start" (see that section) are actually in place.  These include, charter, articles of incorporation, constitution/by-laws, federal tax exempt status, sales tax exempt status, etc.  In addition:
• Draft and adopt Delegations of Responsibility and Authority
• Establish guidelines for executing legal instruments (leases, contracts, etc.)

Insurance

• Insure that all of the insurance coverages from "How to Start" (see that section) are actually in force.  Add as/when required:
• automobile
• renter's
• commercial/property
• health
• boiler and machinery
