During the second year, and in each subsequent year, a comprehensive audit of Legal and Insurance areas should take place.  This audit should be completed during the fourth quarter of the prior year -  and, well in advance of the anniversary renewal dates for insurance coverages.  Particualr attention should be paid to what has changed in the church's environment since the last audit (e.g., property has been acquired, new staff on board, etc.)
