8.1 The church will need at least one computer(maybe a laptop), a fax/printer/copier, reliable and fast Internet access, e-mail capabilities and a phone. Donated office space would be nice and in the second year, a second computer-one for he pastor and one for a part-time employee or volunteer. The church should see out vendors who will donate or reduce prices. The pastor and volunteer may require training. Large print and copy jobs can be outsourced, perhaps to the sponsoring church. At some point, a simple peer-to-peer network for the two computers and printer would be desirable. 8.2 Volunteer experts should be sought out to assist in investigation and purchase of equipment and software. 8.3 Be careful about software licensing as some prices that look too good to be true are not legal or do not deliver the goods.
